Ran the Miami Corporate Run:  24.17

My next 5k was during Independance weekend: 21:42

Short-Term Running Goals:

I want to qualify for Boston.  I need to run a marathon under 3:10

To finish a 5K in under 20 mins

Long-Term Running Goals:

Run Boston, New York, London and just stay running

Personal:

I have a wonderful wife and my pride and joy of a year.  I know that running marathons are hard, but you should see the hard work that my wife does to keeps our baby healthy.

I haven't been training as I should since my injury, and this week I hadn't ran at all since I got sick (flu).  I still haven't recover 100% yet, and I am still taking a lot of medication for my cold, but I still wanted to run this 10K.  I didn't have such a good time, since I had to stop a couple of times because I had a difficult time breathing.  I finished the race in 1:03.

Ran 4 miles, but did not feel so good after the run.  I am still getting over the flu, so it is difficult to run like this.  However, I need to start my training again since I am 10 weeks away from my first marathon.

According to my training program I needed to run 8 miles, but I felt too tired and was only able to complete 7.

I ran 4 x 800's.  This was the first workout that I did since about a month and a half ago.  I felt really good after the workout, and did not feel too tired.

Ran 10 miles easy.  It was a very test to see if I am totally recovered from my injury and from the flu.  I felt good after the run, and during the run I felt OK as well.

Ran 10 miles at an average of 8:23 (including warm up and cool down miles).  I had some miles under 7:40, but most of the miles were around 8:00.

First week of full training since my hamstring injury and flu simptoms.  I felt very tired towards the end of the long run (around mile 17), but I was able to finished.
